Introductions:
Flax Hull Lignans (FHL) are an extract from the hull of the flax seed, and have been long studied in the scientific community as a potential immune system builder and all natural health stimulator. Lignans are one of the two major classes of phytoestrogens; the other class is the isoflavones. Plant lignans are polyphenolic substances derived from phenylalanine via dimerization of substituted cinnamic alcohols. Mammalian lignans are lignans derived from plant lignans.
Functions:
