CAS 5536-17-4，分子式C10H13N5O4，为白色结晶性粉末，微溶于水，其磷酸盐易溶于水。有抗单纯疱疹病毒HSV1和HSV2作用，用以治疗单纯疱疹病毒性脑炎，也用于治疗免疫抑制病人的带状疱疹和水痘感染。但对巨细胞病毒则无效。
